Bihar: 3.5L security personnel to man election

PATNA: The state would require an estimated 3.5 lakh paramilitary and other reserve force personnel to conduct the assembly election in Bihar, which are to be held in three phases, according to state police headquarters. This would be the first time that such a massive deployment is estimated to be required due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
