EPA air chief under ethics scrutiny resigns

Bill Wehrum, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency official in charge of revising power plant rules, revamping vehicle emission standards and biofuels, who was under scrutiny for ethics allegations, is stepping down June 30, the agency said on Wednesday.
