More mosquitoes, but fewer diseases this year predicted

This will sound very contradictory but we’re most likely going to see a lot more mosquitoes this year. But we’re also less likely to see a lot fewer cases of the disease they carry. That was one of the messages delivered by members of the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District, which has declared April 21 through 27 as Mosquito and West Nile Virus Awareness Week.
