Boulder Receives the Tree City USA Award for the 35th Continuous Year, Celebrates Arbor Day Month With Tree Plantings, Giveaways and Tree Sale

Boulder has been named `Tree City USA` for the 35th consecutive year and was also awarded the Tree City USA Growth Award for 2018 by the National Arbor Day Foundation. The Tree City USA designation is in honor of the city`s commitment to community forestry and the Growth Award is awarded by the Arbor Day Foundation to recognize higher levels of tree care by participating Tree City USA communities, highlights innovative programs and projects as well as increased commitment of resources for urban forestry.
