County improves in state health rankings

WARRENSBURG - Johnson County moved up one place in the 2019 County Health Rankings by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Wisconsin Population Health Institute, now ranking as the 17th healthiest county in Missouri. The nationwide program examines health and well-being of people living in most U.S. counties and shows how long and how well people live based on multiple factors. In health factors, Johnson County ranked 35th in the state, and in health behaviors, 60th, down from 33rd and 55th,respectively, in the 2018 rankings.
