Health officials colluded with milk adulterators: Cops

PATIALA: Two days after raiding a synthetic milk manufacturing unit in Devigarh, police have learnt that district health officials were hand in glove with adulterators. Superintendent of police (city) Kesar Singh said during interrogation, unit owner Anil Kumar said he bribed district health officials. He would pay a bribe of Rs 10,000 to get his samples approved in addition to a monthly sum of Rs 5,000.
