Three Framingham stores fail tobacco compliance checks

FRAMINGHAM — A set of local businesses will be barred from selling tobacco products for three consecutive days after being hit with suspensions by the Board of Health.Auto Bright Car Wash, GCN Distribution and Walgreens Pharmacy failed a recent round of compliance checks in June, selling tobacco to a person younger than 21 — the minimum age to buy cigarettes in the city.The board also levied fines of $100 on the businesses.
