NEW DELHI: Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking died this morning at the age of 75. His death came from complications of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig`s disease, from which he had suffered since he was 20. Hawking`s genius lied in bringing together several different but equally fundamental fields of physical theory: gravitation, cosmology, quantum theory, thermodynamics and information theory.
