Temecula Valley Hospital wins national award

Temecula Valley Hospital was one of 45 hospitals in the nation to receive a “Top General Hospital� award from the Leapfrog Group. “Receiving the Leapfrog Top Hospital honor is something that our physicians and staff should be very proud of,� CEO Darlene Wetton said in a news release. Only six hospitals in California earned the Leapfrog Group award. To win the award, hospitals were evaluated in several areas, including infection rates and the ability to prevent medication errors. Nearly 2,000 hospitals nationwide were considered for the award. ......
