At-home colon cancer screening available for $10 to Tazewell County residents

EAST PEORIA — The Tazewell County Health Department is participating in a multicounty initiative to offer home colorectal cancer screening kits and services to county residents.FIT Kits (for fecal immunochemical testing) will be offered to qualifying persons for $10. FIT kits can be picked up during clinic hours: 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.The test is noninvasive and requires no bowel prep or dietary ......
