Matthew Parsons is an associate with the Health and Human Rights Division and the Environment and Human Rights Divison at Human Rights Watch where his work focuses on attacks on healthcare. Before joining Human Rights Watch, he worked with Physicians for Human Rights, documenting attacks on medical facilities and personnel in Syria and researching access to healthcare. Previously, he was a fellow with the Center for Arabic Study Abroad in Cairo, Egypt and conducted research on urban rights and political organizing in Egyptian universities. Matthew holds a Bachelor´s degree in International Relations and Arabic from Tufts University. He speaks Arabic. ......
