Florida added just over 11,000 coronavirus cases and 135 deaths Sunday as the virus continues to surge through the state. With the addition of Sunday`s 11,093 cases, Florida has seen 1,571,279 confirmed infections since the first recorded coronavirus case in March. The weekly case average dropped slightly to about 13,467 cases announced per day. Statewide, 24,515 people have died from the virus.
