The work to prevent more landslides is still two months from starting. Malabar Hill, for decades the city`s swishest residential address and among the country costliest pieces of real estate, is crumbling. The hill has experienced two landslides in the space of just 50 days. The first hit on August 5 and led to a road cave-in on Peddar Road. The second occurred on Tuesday night not very far from the site of the first and filled an apartment in Khareghat Colony, an exclusive Parsi enclave, with muck and mud.
