Rajnath Singh announces embargo on import of 101 defence items

In boost for the government’s flagship program ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan’, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday announced an embargo on 101 items “beyond given timeline”. The step is aimed at boosting indigenous production, he said.
