07/13/2020 MANCHESTER, N.H. - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) today announced an agreement with the City of Manchester that will result in significant reductions of sewage from the city`s wastewater treatment systems into the Merrimack River and its tributaries. The State of New Hampshire joined the U.S. government as a co-plaintiff on this agreement, which also resolves alleged violations of the Clean Water Act by the City of Manchester.
