Florida hit another single-day record for positive coronavirus tests Saturday, reporting 11,458 new cases. The state is closing in on 200,000 total infections and may surpass that number this weekend if cases continue rising at the same rate as recent days. There have now been 190,052 statewide. Eighteen new deaths also were reported, including two in Hillsborough County and one in Pinellas. That brings the state`s seven-day average to about 45 deaths per day, the highest since May 12.
