Lawrence school district summer construction projects include continued work at LHS, renovation at administration offices

Although Lawrence students have not been in their classrooms for months, the Lawrence school district is still working on upgrading school buildings with construction projects this summer. Tony Barron, executive director for facilities and operations at the Lawrence school district, recently told the Journal-World that the largest of those projects includes the continued renovation of Lawrence High School and upgrades to the exterior of the school district’s administrative offices. “Things are moving right along,” Barron said of the summer construction.
