Free treatment scheme now covers all in Maha

MUMBAI: The public health department on Saturday issued a notification on a decision that was taken previously, under which Covid treatment will be made free in the 1,000 hospitals empanelled under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana. However, five-star hospitals in the city are not part of the scheme. Also, the scheme has been expanded to cover even people with white ration cards and government employees who were earlier not a part of the scheme....
