Intra-state travel mulled by Assam

The Assam government may soon allow a `one-time` intra-state travel for people stuck in other districts to return home. A decision may be announced on April 21 depending on the situation, health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said. Sarma, who visited Diphu Medical College and Hospital in Karbi Anglong on Friday to take stock of Covid-19 arrangements, said, `Many students from Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao are stranded in different parts of the state.
