The final new trailer for It Chapter 2 is here, and it`s full of new footage from the film. The big takeaway: While 27 years have gone by since the Losers Club challenged the demonic clown in the sewers beneath Derry, they couldn`t stop its murderous reign over the town. The trailer starts with the adult version of Mike (Isaiah Mustafa) in Derry, talking to the Losers. In the book, once the kids leave the town, they start to lose their memories of the place and what happened there--all but Mike, who stayed behind in Derry to serve as a metaphorical `lighthouse keeper.` He`s intent on making sure that if Pennywise ever resurfaced, he would be ready to recall the Losers to deal with the killer clown once and for all. Missing kids and unexplained murders and disappearances have always plagued Derry as part of Pennywise`s influence. As they start to increase, Mike starts to fear the worst. Mike`s right: Pennywise is definitely back. One of the first scenes in the trailer is also one adapted directly from Stephen King`s novel. In it, a gay man named Adrian Mellon is attacked by three homophobic teens in Derry and thrown into its canal, where Pennywise finds him.
