As part of its Show Time event, Apple debuted Apple TV Plus, its own streaming service coming this fall. While the company announced several exclusive series as part of today`s presentation, it also teased several more with a list of names, without detailing their projects.Among the names seen on the compilation screen were high-profile directors like Spike Lee and Mr. Night Shyamalan, actors like Bill Murray and Kristen Bell, and even Broadway stars like Leslie Odom Jr. We don`t yet know what their projects are, but Apple has rolled out a formidable talent pool for its new venture. It`s worth noting that not all of the names signify distinct projects. Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell are all listed separately for their comedy series The Morning Show. Similarly, Kumail Nanjiani and his wife and co-producer Emily Gordon are listed separately for their non-fiction series, Little America. Even Charlie Brown and Snoopy get two billings. One name was held back from the list, as Apple kept it separate for a special announcement at the end of the show. Oprah Winfrey appeared on stage to announce two separate series, a book club, and her own expansive partnership with the company. Another name was obscured by the presenter, and GameSpot has reached out to Apple for clarification. The presentation also detailed an expansion of Apple TV`s non-premium service, a subscription-based gaming service called Apple Arcade, an expansion to its News service to include magazines and more newspapers, and a credit card.
