Brooklyn Nine Nine star Chelsea Peretti is dropping out of the series. He said in his own statement that he and Mike Schur eyed Peretti for her role as Gina from the very beginning. Netflix and Hulu reportedly passed.Brooklyn Nine Nine, a police comedy/drama that stars SNL veteran Andy Samberg, premiered in 2013. According to Deadline, the show failed to find a substantial audience in part because it moved back and forth between Sunday and Tuesday.
