The Last Guardian comes out next week on PlayStation 4, but you don`t have to wait until then to see more footage of the long-awaited adventure game. Sony`s official Japanese PlayStation YouTube account has posted a video of the game`s first nine minutes (via GameZone). If you want to go into the game with fresh eyes, it might be best to avoid the video.You play as a young boy, and one of the game`s first challenges is to set the bird-cat-dog creature Trico free of its chains. Once the beast is free, you`ll move through the world together, using the creature`s size and strength to advance through puzzles and the environment.It`s adorable to watch the interaction between the boy and the beast, while the music is a treat as well.The Last Guardian comes out for PS4 on December 6. It`s been a long time coming, as the game was announced at E3 2006. At the time, it was a PlayStation 3 title before it was re-announced for PS4 at E3 2015.The Last Guardian was directed by Fumito Ueda, who previously worked on Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. It`s among the 100-plus games that will be playable at PlayStation Experience this coming weekend.
