Two south suburban Cook County mass COVID-19 vaccination sites will accept walk-in appointments starting Wednesday as demand for shots dwindles. The Matteson and Tinley Park mass vaccination locations are opening up access this week as part of a pilot to see whether removing the barrier of making an appointment online or over the phone will expand the county`s endeavor at getting shots into arms, Cook County Health CEO Israel Rocha Jr. said in a news conference at Provident Hospital.
