The final environmental study of a plan to restore the Los Cerritos Wetlands, on the border of Long Beach and Seal Beach, is scheduled this week to go before the agency that oversees much of the area — after multiple delays over the last couple of months. The Los Cerritos Wetlands Authority’s governing board — which has members from Long Beach, Seal Beach, the state Coastal Commission, and the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Rivers and Mountains Conservancy — is set to weigh whether to approve the study during its Thursday, Jan. 7, meeting.
