EU Commission clears sale of agta record to ASSA ABLOY

Media Release: Fehraltorf, 17 August 2020 The controlling shareholders of agta record and ASSA ABLOY, a 39% share- holder in agta record, received clearance by the EU Commission to complete the transaction announced on 6 March 2019. The purchase price for the 54% stake held by agta finance amounts to approxi- mately EUR 506 million, equivalent to an adjusted(1) purchase price per agta record share of EUR 70.54.
