First car manufacturer to use GPS geo-fencing technology in designated areas of London and Birmingham. BMW plug-in hybrid models automatically switch to electric driving mode when they enter an eDrive Zone. Included in every new BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series and BMW X5 plug-in hybrid model.
