Longmont City Council to get Resilient St. Vrain flood recovery update

Longmont City Council is to get a Tuesday night city staff update on the status of the Resilient St. Vrain Project that’s restoring the St. Vrain Greenway and improving the St. Vrain River channel to protect people, property and infrastructure from future flood risk. The staff presentation comes as Longmont approaches the seventh anniversary of the devastating September 2013 flood. Longmont’s ongoing flood-recovery, stream corridor and greenway reconstruction project was launched soon after that flood occurred.
