Troon RNLI inshore lifeboat rescues person from the water at Barassie

Lifeboats News Release Monday 15 October 2018 At 6.44pm on Monday 15 October 2018, as the volunteer crew and shore team were assembling at the station for weekly training, their pagers were activated by Belfast Coastguard after reports of a person in the water at the southern end of Barassie Beach. Also tasked were the Ayr and Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team. Local Police Officers from Ayrshire Police Division had also been notified and were also making their way to the scene.
