Maryland immediately lifts gas tax for 30 days

With prices at the pump rising, Maryland lifted its 36-cent per gallon gasoline tax for 30 days starting Friday in an effort to deliver some relief to motorists. If fuel stations pass the savings on, it could amount to about $5 per tank in savings.
