Review: Salonen leads the L.A. Phil`s Weimar festival into the raw darkness of `Nightfall`

Phil Weimar Republic festival, Esa-Pekka Salonen conducts staged performances of Hindemith`s scandalous one-act opera of sex and violence, `Murder, Hope and Women,` and the not much less scandalous but far better known Brecht/Weill `Seven Deadly Sins,` featuring Nora Fischer.
