Hendersonville Police Department promotes Hipps, Smith

Two veteran Hendersonville Police Department officers have been selected to serve as lieutenants. Detective Nathan Smith and Sgt. Kenny Hipps have been selected to serve as watch commanders in the patrol bureau.Smith has 14 years of service with HPD, to include previous service as a patrol sergeant. In 2016 and 2018, Smith was selected by his peers as Detective of the Year. ......
