Review: Exuberant voices testify to help close Folk Fest 40 in style

As thousands of weary music fans trooped home from Folk Fest 40 Sunday night chances are good that many of them were still smiling over the emotional wallop that came from a series of righteous, exuberant vocal testimonies. At the very end there was the ritual delivery of Four Strong Winds, this time courtesy of Irish-born, P.E.I.-based singer Irish Mythen — what a set of lungs! — before she was joined on stage by a mix of other artists, festival staff and volunteers.
