WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - A Wichita police officer has been charged with helping a woman with an outstanding warrant avoid being located. Officer Charley Davidson, a police spokesman, said in a news release that Officer Matthew Powell was placed on unpaid administrative leave Wednesday after he was charged in Sedgwick County District Court.
