Hicksville board hears of successful `Shake`

HICKSVILLE - Middle school principal Andrew Hunter spoke to the Hicksville Exempted Village Board of Education during Monday´s regular meeting regarding the completion of another successful Hicksville Shake. The annual contest, in which students take part in business interviews, was completed May 9-10. Eighty-six middle schoolers participated in first round interviews, with 12 moving on to second round group skills and activities. The five top interviewees selected were Elise Baldwin, Jacob Beverly, Mackenzie Enderle, Josie Smith and Owen Stuckey, who all will move on to the county competition on May 23 at Defiance College.
