German violinist Christian Tetzlaff is the kind of musician who makes a dazzling first impression - and continues to impress with each new assignment. I first witnessed his artistry in 2002 in a duo recital with pianist Leif Ove Andsnes in a San Francisco Performances event at Herbst Theatre.
