The six-month driver`s license suspension amnesty in effect until July 31 to forgive or reduce fees so low-income Ohioans can get their licenses back is an excellent first step. State Rep. Dave Greenspan of Westlake, who co-sponsored last year`s legislation, should seek to make the amnesty a permanent feature in Ohio law, writes the editorial board.
