DELAND — Ormond Beach City Commission candidate James Dale Holcombe won’t be on the ballot after a jury found him guilty Friday of racketeering in a cash-for-gift-cards scheme.Holcombe, 29, a candidate for the Zone 4 seat on the Ormond Beach City Commission, was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit racketeering.His father, Dale Chester Holcombe, 55, of South Daytona, was also found guilty of the same charges.The Holcombes showed no reaction as the ......
