Police: Sturbridge man with body in trunk kills self during traffic stop in Maine

State police in Maine said a Sturbridge, Mass., man killed himself during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon in Gardiner, Maine, and the Worcester district attorney`s office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of the car.Maine State Police identified the man as 34-year-old Gyrth Rutan; they said an autopsy at the state medical examiner`s office determined he died of a shotgun wound to the head.
