Mayor Dan Horrigan, Akron officials to rappel 20 story FirstEnergy Building Friday

Mayor Dan Horrigan, Akron Police Chief Kenneth Ball and Akron Fire Chief Clarence Tucker, will rappel 20 stories down the FirstEnergy Building on Friday to benefit the Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America. A VIP event, during which the Akron city leaders will rappel, will begin Friday, August 10 at 3:30 p.m. at 76 S. Main St. in downtown Akron. The goal of the event is to raise $100,000 to support the Great Trail Council.
