HB 52 protects Summit County residents against overpriced property deeds

Summit County`s senior property owners, and other vulnerable populations, will now have greater protection against scammers selling overpriced property deeds. Certified printed deeds cost $5 at the Summit County Fiscal Office, while copies can be download for free. Unscrupulous companies have marketed deeds to property owners for $80-$90.
