Legendary rocker Tom Petty died in October of an accidental overdose of drugs he had been taking for a broken hip and other medical issues, his family revealed Friday. The singer, whose Oct. 2 death at age 66 left fans reeling, died as a result of a “mixed drug toxicity” that caused multiple organ failure, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said in its report, TMZ reported.
