California sues over Corinthian student debt relief claims

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - California`s attorney general is suing the Trump administration, saying the federal Department of Education is refusing to process debt relief claims from tens of thousands of students who had federal loans to attend Corinthian Colleges. The lawsuit filed Thursday by Attorney General Xavier Becerra (HAH-vee-air Bah-sehr`-ah) says more than 50,000 relief claims are pending, including 13,000 from Californians. ......
