Rita, La Habra´s newest police dog, is making a difference on patrol

La Habra Police Department’s newest member, Rita, is following in some pretty big paw prints. She was brought on after the retirement earlier this year of two canines with several years and busts under their collars. But since about April, Rita and Officer Travis Nelson have gelled as the newest team in the unit. And, the 2-year-old German Shepherd from the Czech Republic is already making her mark.
