Christmas open house planned at Nazareth Motherhouse

CONCORDIA — Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be special guests at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia Christmas Open House Sunday.Children will be able to enjoy snacks, crafts and a chat with St. Nick between 1 and 3 p.m., while the adults take in the beauty of the historic Nazareth Motherhouse. Admission is free.Holiday music and guided tours of the five-story landmark home, which has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1973, also are planned. ......
