Norwalk police raise $3K to support breast cancer research

NORWALK - During the month of October, the Norwalk Police Department participated in the Pink Patch Project by wearing pink patches to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in fighting the disease. During the month-long fundraising campaign, the Norwalk Police Benevolent Association along with the Norwalk Police Department raised $3,330, which was donated on Nov. 21 to the the Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital. ......
