Protesters stand with teacher at Rome BOE; resignation OK`d despite her trying to call it off

A group of more than a dozen protesters, including students, carried placards on the steps outside the Rome City Schools´ central office Tuesday evening before heading into Superintendent Lou Byars office to speak before the board of education during its caucus about a teacher´s resignation, which she claims she rescinded. The demonstrators included representatives of the Metro Association of Classroom Educators, a teachers union, who showed up in solidarity for Anna K.
