Body found in Jefferson County pond Tuesday

Police are investing the death of a 29-year-old man whose body was found in a pond Tuesday in the 3200 block of Wheeler Chapel Road, according to a news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived at the scene just after 10 a.m. and found Shawn Miller lying unresponsive in the water, the news release said.
