Riders enjoys thrills, while the livestock chills at Altamont Fair

The Tornado amused riders at the Altamont Fair Thursday, above. Holsteins were judged at the fair which runs daily through 10 p.m. Sunday. Highlights include midway rides, food vendors, craft exhibits, an Elvis impersonator, petting zoo, a hypnotist and, of course, racing pigs. The fair is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. ......
