“We average 90 years old. We have a couple of guys 85 — they’re on probation,” jokes Fr. Christian Mondor, 92, when talking about the Huntington Beach-based band “Forever Young,” which bills itself as “America’s Oldest Act of Professional Entertainers.” OK, so Mondor, a banjo player, may be slightly overstating the age of the senior troupe.
